Practicing Royal Icing Cakes

I thought I should be practicing on my weak areas so I decided to practice on my royal icing! doing bridges, collars and runouts. Gosh the horror! Especially when I wait 2 days for the runouts to dry back and front and when I tried to assemble them together, it broke! I felt a stab in my heart and I burst out in tears! But I couldn't fix it so I had no choice but to redo it. Argh! royal icing needs more practice!
